Boy I must say, I’ve never grieved so much for a celebrity or someone I didn’t know as much as I have for Toby Keith. I just feel like I was there for it all. From his first big hit till the end I loved every bit of what he did and what he stood for. I felt something when Toby sang heck always will as I’ll never stop listening to the rivers of music he had left behind for us to remember him by. I hurt more for his family than I do for him. I know with his deep faith he’s singing with the angels now bless his heart. It’s his loved ones left behind that will feel the biggest void. Like his wife of almost 40 years. Prayed a bit for her. I suppose he wouldn’t want us to be sad. Rest in peace Toby Keith. There will never be another like you. ❤

I saw Toby in concert one year after 9/11 and we all waved red, white and blue bandanas, whatever we had.... when he sang 'we'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way.' He brought a crowd of strangers together. How do we like you now, Cowboy? The same as always: we LOVE YOU.
