Opening Range Breakout Strategy. So what is your system or setup? I wanted to fit my trading into my lifestyle so what I've found advantageous for me was to look at a couple of markets in the morning and again in the afternoon. My strategy revolved around the first 15 minutes of the opening session concentrating on the opening drive. I call it the open bar breakout strategy. OK.

thx for going deep on the opening breakout strategy, i was studying to do it on GBP/USD, was good learning for a while, but after one and a half year i made my tradestyle to "Manually managed Algo on the Daily chart".
With the algo ONLY Maths tell what to do, and seems that my monkey mind dont like maths so, sounds perfect to me.

And i dont like to wake up early for the opening XD

The London Open breakout is taught to lots of lazy middle class Americans, who don't want to think for themselves. Their Stop Orders provide cheap liquidity for Marketmakers. Time & again, the 'Market' will stop hunt the high, then straight away the low. If the technique worked that consistently, everyone would be doing it. May I humbly suggest trading the Stop Hunts instead: if the price moves below the first 15-min Candle, consider buying it? 😎
