Fans Waited 9 Years For This Hearthstone Card and It's Disappointing

after 9 years of waiting hearthstone finally is releasing the Sargeras card in the next expansion

I didn’t have a problem with the card until I saw this video. Now I really wish the portal summoned random demons instead.

The random demon change is actually on point.

You might get Malganis, you might get an imp.. but you will never know against the Burning Legion.. it's almost as you cannot be prepared or something *wink wink*

Should've been "Battlecry: Open the twisting nether" and the token is "At the start of each turn summon a random demon". Abilities for Sargeras would be the same except for one change. Instead of summoning Infernals it's "Replace your hero with Sargeras" Old jaraxxus style. and you get "Sword of sargeras" Which is a 6/4 weapon with "Immune while attacking, after your hero attacks a minion suck it into the twisting nether" This makes the card more fun in my opinion (In case someone asks Yes your current health cap/total would be what Sargeras' health is) and his hero power could just be 4 mana "Might of the Legion" Summon 2 6/6 infernal.

warlock use to have big and scary demons, and now warlock is imp farmer

I hope we get to see his Lieutenants, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden as hearthstone cards. But it might be another decade before we get to see that.

For me it's not disappointing at all, he gives you an endless army of 3/4 Taunts, yes they are Imps but it doesn't matter, you aren't playing that in Implock, the are just Taunt Demons, . And the board clear ability is also really good, it's like The Amazing Reno without the trash Hero Power. I feel like a lot of people don't like him just because the Demons he summons are Imps, as if it would make a difference if they were Felstakers, Felguards or any other Demon.

What's wrong with imps? They're small demons, the stuff Sargeras summons. Random demons would have made the card unbalanced because highrolls and lowrolls would dramatically change its impact. With Imps, you know what you're getting

He gives you a Quest reward as a Battlecry. That's badass. On a single 9-mana card, that dude can give you 5 minions on board, up to 24/28 of stats. If that's not a legion, idk what is. Animations are sick too. I think he lived up to the anticipation

Yeah I was also disappointed at the effect, but hey, at least you can always have a relatively good board every turn. Even if those minions are imps.

Random is too op. Demons from the portal should cost 4 or less.

Imagine balancing a Sargeras with ANYONE. Right? Random are more fun, but it will instantly break the balance, because there are way too many good random demons, instead of just blanc 3-2's. You can't balance a Sargeras more than it is right now. But yes. A more unique signature effect would be way cooler. Or more versions of Sargeras doing different things... Like hitting the board with a huge sword that is slowly corrupting you into a demon. A 3-2 imp-hero in like 5 turns)) But so it could be reverted by grinding a big azerite node... Hitting it on your side for 3 or more every turn! =D

Full random minion would be more funny (random stats, random class, random cost) like battleground's zerus (swaps every turn wherever it is)

It's not about the ability itself, which it's fine. It's about bringing different demons artworks into the game. For example, Felguards imo look the coolest, and yet, all we've been getting is Imps variations. So keep the stats, but please change the type of demon being summoned 😅
