My boy is 1yr old and the best food for him by far has been orijen large puppy blend. 2nd best was authority puppy large breed, and then honest blend dry food (dehydrated food pieces)

I really wish raw food/fresh food diets were more readily available, and affordable for everyone

Purina is not a good brand to get for you dog. They put too much fillers in their products.

Anything "meal" can be just that. Anything. I would never use it. I'm glad you mention, that too much grain may cause allergies. Hopefully, most of the protein is from the meat. Orijen, is the only one of this group, that I would use.

my vet would not recommend any food is that normal? i said if money was not an options whats the best and she said i cant tel you tht all food is basically the same aslong as its for large breed puppys your fine... great vet but i think they are scared to recommened stuff now lol she didnt even say hills
