I think this US commentator is completely wrong… Trump just nominated Matt Gaetz as U.S. attorney general
that's about as unhinged as you can get

As a Ukrainian, I was devastated when Trump won. Believing his words, i am very afraid that the Americans will stop supporting us, and the future will look grim for Ukraine. On the other side I kinda hope that Trump will try to stop the war only for his ego, and we will reach some sort of peace. Does it mean that we lose chunks of territory, could be. But do I need those territories more than my brother, who is already fighting in the war for 2 years? How many people have to die more? Pray for peace and safety for everyone 🙏

Giving Ukraine everything it needs to win this war and Ukrainian integration into the EU and NATO is the west’s best self defense.

As a German: I am deeply ashamed by our chancellor's lack of leadership. I really hope for early snap elections. That man has to go.

The Ukrainian military aid bill was held up for half a year with Trump's assent. How many young Ukrainian boys lost their lives as a result?

"Drill baby drill" is just another empty mindless soundbite, America already drills more oil than it knows what to do with, what is driving up gas prices are profits not availability

...can't be certain... the most accurate thing the ambassador said. Clearly the ambassador doesn't like Biden or his policies, but he is attributing attributes to Trump that are not congruent with his past behaviors.

Why do people forget that the US did secure Ukraine with a deal so Russian would not touch Ukraine! Is US trust worthy?

I am concerned about Musk's involvement in the government. His influence could pose significant risks to national security and the economy. I hope Trump will consider removing him from this position.

It's sad for all of us and across the globe too. Our democracy is in great danger than ever.

We can't talk about Trump in terms of being a rational man when all those who followed him over 8 years know he's clearly mentally ill, which makes him totally irrational, he makes decisions based on a hunch rather than listening to his advisors.Few will stop his darkest instincts this time.
Buckle up, it's going to get rough.

The problem is if they don't do what Trump wants, he'll fire them.

Putin made his fortunes skimming the oil industry. Trump wants to do that
