Me recuerda mucho mi país Colombia antes de los 80, cuando aún se construían esta clase de viviendas en zonas rurales, muy frescas y muchas veces vivienda de las avejas, por lo cual también teníamos miel 🍯 ...otros tiempos gratis...

Cement cannactually enhance the mud... to avoid woods from termites, and wood corrosion from heat and cold exposures.. mixed with little amount of cement, hmmm in the other method agri lime can also enhance the mud... .

I have seen this type of house building in the late 50s in rural Sri Lanka well plastered smoothenned and painted over. It would appear like any pucca house.

In Vietnam in the 1960s, people also built walls like that. The bamboo was woven thicker and the mud was mixed with straw and lime. In the highlands, the walls were made of rammed clay. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Aqui no Brasil esse tipo de construção, mais sustentável, foi desaconsehada, por ter contribuido para uma epidemia da doença de Chagas. Face as fendas cruiadas na argila depois de seca, abrigar o inseto Barbeiro, que por sua vez servia como hospedeiro do protozoário Tripanossma Cruzzi.


Eu quando adquiri minha propriedade rural tinha uma casa desse material e tive que demolir e fazer uma de alvenaria.
