There was a boom when many Indian and foreign companies were coming with apps providing needs in service sector but now even that crosses the limit having huge compatition...

Oil companies are buying cheap oil but not providing enough profit to public taking huge money as taxes by the govt, infrastructure projects and railways got limited to Vande Bhart train govt is giving free food grains people have no money to spend on anything inflation level is still over par so all in all it's a mix bag by Indian govt ....

Unicorns in India are overvalued to scam foreign investments. Now that a lot of investors has cotton on to this trend so that is why start ups are shredding jobs.
