The Shameful Case of Jen Shah

This is the story of Jen Shah, who operated a nationwide telemarketing scam that targeted vulnerable and elderly people for ten years, before getting caught while appearing on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Apologies for this being up late- there were issues regarding copyright.

I get the feeling Georg knows who these people are because his wife makes him watch the shows, and in the process he thinks, "I hate these people so much I'm going to investigate them."

I'd love to see the behind the scenes for these Real Housewife shows. They are better at finding these people who's riches were accumulated via immoral means better than the FBI are.

The fact that there are real human beings who follow these smuts and tries to emulate them is the real letdown.

People taking advantage of children and the elderly should not be allowed to purchase ramen in prison. It's really the least the justice system could do.

Never even heard of this person before. Just confirms my decision to cancel the cable TV was one of my better decisions.

I’ve been using “insufferable cur” as an insult for years and now I feel seen and validated.

There's nothing like a The Shameful Case Of episode to set the tone for the new year. I feel so much anger and disgust for these people. Great job!

Hi Georg, liking the current format of investigative videos. Happy to see you able to re-invent yourself successfully after losing the Hiptang endorsement. Keep up the good work.

Imagine watching all these ladies scream and point at each other in muted slowmo while tripping out. What a gauntlet

The legend has graced us with another enthusiastic study of a broken human . It's the Hiptang.

Jen Shah looks like a "Bratz" doll come to life.

I actually watched the first and second series of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Jen Shah seemed to be an out of control, highly stressed, and narcissistic woman constantly gossiping about the others but expecting them to back her up. It wasn’t even entertaining, it was just stressful to watch. Anyone who scans people out of money, especially vulnerable people, deserve whatever they get so at least she’ll be doing some prison time!

she and erika jayne disgust me. i hate how easy it was for them to basically get away with shit like that even with them being on tv showing off stolen wealth. barf. her sentence is a slap on the wrist

Thank you for covering this, she's a piece of work.

I love the boilerplate plea for leniency. You've just been convicted of scamming a bunch of people. You're not an upstanding member of the community, you just robbed the community lol

She needs to pay all those people back!

When Georg posts a video dissecting another Bravo scammer I click immediately.

Honestly, Bravo and E! Networks love giving shows to grifters, liars, opportunists and thieves. The RH franchises, the Kardashians, plenty others I'm forgetting... They love horrible people because we, the larger viewing artist, can't get enough of watching horrible ppl. And in turn with time, society at large becomes noticeably more horrible, too, as it tries to emulate the ppl in these shows.

Well it’s either watch this or watch Michael McIntyre on BBC1.

No competition, excellent work as ever Georg.
