An easier way to do q18:

I initially tried to do it the way you did, but I wasn't able to do (24)^2 +(18)^2 = c^2 in time.

An easier way to do it is by realizing that 18/6 = 3. You can easily find the hypotenuse of the smaller triangle which ends up being 10, and you can multiple that by 3 to get 30.

You're a GOAT btw. Would be totally screwed without these vids.

Mister as for number 18 we could just use the special and similar triangles ... 6 became 18 so multiply by 3, 8 * 3 =24 so now we use the special triangle 3, 4, 5 the smaller one is multiplied by 2 which is how 3 became 6 and 4 became 8 so the hypotenuse is 10 then 10*3 =30

watching this again, For Q16, there is an easier way to solve especially if you've taken Calc AB or pre-calc(don't quote me on this). You can rewrite a^(b/4) as the fourth root of a^b which you then can use simple algebraic methods in order to see that a^b = 16^4 thus 4 is one possible solution. This is quicker as it doesn't involve brute force and trial and error but I don't recommend especially if you haven't taken any kind of advanced mathematics.
