Elise was Beethoven’s student that he had a crush on, he made it easy from the start because of the love he had for her but when he asked her out she had already had a boyfriend and out of anger he made the the song much much harder so she won’t ever know how to play the song that was made for her.

This rendition makes me imagine a dark masquerade where everyone's wearing dark colours and people are waltzing hypnotically with each other and one by one people just start dropping dead but nobody notices, they just grab a new partner and keep dancing until the last two fall. Like the song slowly poisoned them via waltz until they just died.

Piano is one of those instruments where its easy to learn but hard to master

This is a perfect representation of Beethoven's earlier character, a man consumed with anger for the loss of something essential to his passion(his hearing). Its brilliant in helping to bring out the emotion he must have felt, being so engulfed in his creation yet unable to hear it for himself. This is a genius rendition of the original which has a whole different impact. Both versions I feel are true to the character of the man.
