_Für Elise translated is just For Elise so basically my boi Beet was trying to impress Elise but ended up getting Friendzoned._

This was originally for one of his students named "Therese" she was pretty mediocre piano player so he made this piece to be easy yet to sound good, but he found out she was engaged to another dude so he made it far more complex so that Therese can never play it and renamed it from "Fur Therese" to "Fur Elise" likely referring to "Elisabeth Roeckel" to try and forget about Therese

Everyone asks "who's Elise?"

But no one asks "how's Elise?"

The first half was the kind of music that a movie trailer would use.

beethoven made this for a student he loved, named therese, who wasn't really the best piano player - she was mediocre, at best. he made it so easy that she could play it and also impress people

because beethoven found out she was engaged to another man. he pretty much made that a part 1:05 so she could never play it. he proposed to her once & was rejected so rip

the reason why it's named "elise" & not "therese" probably refers to elisabeth roeckel. she had a flirty relationship w/ beethoven, so he probably renamed it for her because he didn't want to remember therese anymore

I heard Beethoven was in love with a student of his, wrote Für Elise for her, who was a mediocre piano player, so he made it easy, but then he discovered she was in love with somebody else, so he added the hard parts so she could never play it

My piano teacher said the same 10 years ago.
The real name of that masterpiece is "Für Theresa" not "Für Elise". But is this relevant? He said "no". Both sounds great in the ear. 👌🏻
