Definition of one-to-one functions, determining whether a function is one-to-one using the definition and the horizontal line test. Examples finding the equation of the inverse of a one-to-one function, and using the inverse function to find the range of the original function. Verifying that two functions are inverses by composing them with one another. #inversefunctions #horizontallinetest #onetoone #onetoonefunctions #precalclulus #mathtvwithprofessorv #mathvideos #youtubemath #math #functions #inverses #compositionoffunctions #functioncomposition #domain #range #mathprofessor #mathtutor #mathhelp #precalculusvideos #algebra #algebravideos

Professor V, this is another excellent video/lecture on One-to -One and Inverse Functions. Once again, One-to-One and Inverse Functions are a huge part of Abstract/Linear Algebra. Finding the domain and range is also important when analyzing these functions.
