So I’ve been plagued with ingrown toenails for years! I’ve had them remove part of the toenail and I’ve had the whole nail pulled off! It’s not the removal that hurts, it’s when they numb you! That freakin needle is so painful! I would be willing to try this out! If it works and I don’t have to be tortured by the You could use this as soon as you feel the ingrown start and I bet it would be less painful! Also putting something under the nail so it can’t grow into the skin might help!

P.S. I found silicone guides that you can slide on the sides of your nails so they can’t grow back into the skin!

That's not an ingrown toenail, it's a nail with a fungal infection and the only real way to stop it curling up like that is to cure the infection. Pulling it straight is just going to hurt like crazy, and then hurt again when it curls back up

So yes it is true at hospitals they lift your nail like that. But its only done when they have to clean the underside then remove the whole nail
