Free S Class Sentinel Ship! No Man's Sky Interceptor Update

This is how to claim a free S Class Sentinel Ship in No Man's Sky. The new interceptor update for No Man's Sky has given us a ton of awesome new items including Sentinel Multitools, Sentinel Jetpack and even Sentinel Ships. These Sentinel ships are unique per planet, so if you want to find a rare ship you need to search for it and the NMS Coordinates Exchange is the perfect place to look for awesome items in No Man's Sky. This video will show you where to find an awesome s class sentinel ship!

Small note, if you activate the brain and nothing happens, DON'T PANIC! It means you are missing components for the "mission" so look at the mission, and it will show you are probably missing the sail things from the drill drones and the visor will guide you to one of them. After you get the missing components, you can now activate the brain to find the ruin/monolith.

I was sending my fleet to missions when I saw the recommendation of a new update, so I went straight to Coordinate Exchange and took the first I saw posted. Interceptors are pretty good, and their super maneuvering makes it greater

Fun fact, i used this guide but ofc after two years things changed. Now there are 2 bases in there with landing pad. When i went there to get the ship, pilot was there and you can add him to squadron. First i claim the ship but then reload and wanted to add him rather than get the ship, in the reload guy wasnt there, reload again guy was in the landing pad trying to get help. i added him then ship gone but after 10 seconds ship cameback :D and i could claim it as well.

Jason, i dont know adding sentinels to your squadron is a thing but you may want to check yourself with a clean save it maybe a fun content. If there is a thing, you can forget it :D

Somebody marked an A class on that planet that has a nice supercharge slot layout once upgraded to S class. It has a sideways L shaped supercharged slots located in the center of the tech slots.

Still haven’t found an s class sentinel ship… got 5 different ones so far though. Started a new game and have been salvaging them for the coin, great early game income!

For those that get there and there is no ship. Save either at the save point or get in and out your ship, and reload auto save. Ship will show. Make sure multiplayer is off.

The one I got for destroying a sentinel freighter looks a lot like a TIE Interceptor from Star Wars! All black, red horizontal light in the front, pointy cannons in the front. Looks dope af

Well, that seemed like a wild goose chase. Went to the exact coordinates; no base, no ship.
EDIT: I went elsewhere on the planet and found a sentinel settlement, 2-3 arcologies, and a sentinel pillar. I've build bases at the settlement and pillar. You can get the sentinel multitool and ship location at the settlement! It is the white one listed here. It is pretty much straight across from the space station. Hope this helps

Hey there.

Do you have problems finding the S Class Sentinel Ship? You can use a little trick:
Fly to the coords, look for the ship while airborne(maybe you can see the broken ship before you land). Then look for a place to land right next to it but stay airborne. I recommend not landing on a landing pad, because the turning of your ship will cost time you won't have. If you find a good position to land, fly away to get it out of sight. (The game has to reload the area to make this work.) Turn around, fly back and quickly land with activated 3rd person sight(seeing your ship from behind instead of being in cockpit). Now quickly jump out and run to it and click it. If you do this right you should get the things out and the ship will stay. You can repeat this when coming from the Monolith, but I don't know if it is neccessary.

When I first came there I saw it down there, but I didn't see the ship after landing. Coming back later I noticed it dissappearing while changing from 3rd person to 1st person and reappearing going back to 3rd person.
I noticed it "flies away" if you keep being in your ship and watch it for a short time while in 3rd person mode. (Not joking ;) So it's only playing dead? xD )
If you miss it just repeat until you reach it in time. It kept respawning 2 times, then I got it so I think you can repeat it until you get it as long as you can see it airborne.

PS: If you have trouble finding the position claim some territory and build a portal. At this time there are three player bases right next to it, which you should see using a portal on the planet:
"S Class Sentinel Ship"
"W/g sent S class ship"
"S prime"

August 31st. Still works. Word of warning have a good brain, inverted mirrors etc ready to go cause the damn thing will take off after about a minute or two. Had extra parts, ran up to it installed quickly and jumped in.

I found a B class ship by using the markers. I reloaded and went directly to the planetary coords and was able to find the same S class ship. It works, it just takes more than 30 seconds to find at times and may even require you playing the game a little. I almost didn't find it, but after searching a bit, I can confirm: it does exist, the base is still here but doesn't populate until you're really close, and it spawns an s-Class ship. Safe flying travellers.
