Aluminum foil and muriatic acid makes the bottle expand too. You just want to RUN from it FAST.

My friends and I put tin foil and toilet bowl cleaner in 2 liter bottles, it makes a loud noise. 10 minutes later I was in handcuffs, 1 week later I found myself being charged with felony bomb making. Luckily the Judge was not an idiot and dropped the charges.

i have done such tricks with water.
put just little bit of hot water in smashed bottle and than shake as hard as you can. that will build steam and a pressure.

than you can put whole bottle in coldest solution you have - it will shrink ( if steam does not already turns into water).

Video idea? I recently used "deshedding shampoo" for the first time when washing my dog and she easily lost 5 times the fur she typically does with a bath. I'm curious about the chemistry involved in making products like that (and other common household products) work so well.
