This video is a joy for any aviation lover. I wish I had this when I was a young flight enthusiast in the 90's

01:26 - NG can have same switches like on a MAX
08:39 - NG can have same
13:41 - NG can have same
It's options for NG

You forgot the most important difference. Our NG’s have one cup holder but our MAX’s have two

You forgot about one of the biggest changes between NG and MAX.... on the MAX there are no more spoiler mixer, ratio changer and spoiler cables !!! It’s fly by wire now. Must be an great improvement from the maintenance point of view!💪🏼👌🏼

6:17 love the fact that the MAX still has the round arc on the top of the generator panel for the analogue gauges used in the first 737 series :D

Basically a 737-200 with big LCD's. That cockpit looks like it came out a museum with all those old switches.

late model 737NGs also have no taxi light on the nose gear. @0:41 Late model NGs have LED landing/taxi lights at the wing root. @1:08 Just look at Delta's newer 737NGs. I work as a fueler so ive seen them up close.

I’ve jumpseated with a second jumpseater in a 737. Not the most most comfortable with 4 people up front 🥴

Excellent video for differences. Being a Ground Instructor, I remember back in the 80s fighting with the company print department for having the best photocopies possible and showing all this to the pilots with transparencies in the classroom. We´ve come a long way. :D

Thank you for this video. I retired from Tramco-ATS 3-2019. Mostly worked Cockpit. Refurbished many panels. Changed #1 and #3 windows. Adjusted #2 Sliding windows.

The new 737-800 and 737-900 have led lights similar to the Max. In 2015 they switched to LED

I was a Boeing supporter until that door plug popped off over Portland. Now my first thought when seeing a MAX cockpit is: Does it have ejector seats for the pilots?
