I have always believed that women in that day didn’t have much say in her divorce. Men divorced the women if they were barren, or any reason the man decided. There is no talk of children. I have always believed that she is more a victim of circumstance rather than having a romantic inclination. They were betrothed by their parents. Romance had very little to to with marriage. I am not denying the message given here, which is always a blessing.

Your translation of the word Spirit is I correct, or at least inconsistent. It is the same word used for the Holy Spirit in Matthews Gospel. Specifically speaking to the Virgin birth.
It's also the same word for the Spirit that led Jesus into the wilderness
