What about if you literally are the palest shade of foundation and there is no other shades before it. I have albinism btw so I have no color beside pink from blood in my skin

I don't agree with that method, I am indian and we are prone to hyperpigementation and dark circles. I fall in that category of severe dark purple/blue under eyes, and I look like someone punched me. I have lived all my life with my family that criticize my under eyes about what I need do or what to eat. I have tried many skincare products. I have been told by my Dr to try fillers that did help but not enough. It helped with the fullness but not enough to be paying out of pocket for something that only helps 30% of my under eye issues. Even with color corrector, the darkness peaks through. I use similar or 1 shade darker to color corrector and then use a concealer similar to my foundation. I use translucent powder that brightens. Nothing can mask the dark circles even with corrector and concealer. If I can fully cover the dark circles, I then walk around heavy under eye creases and caked on concealer. My skin under my eyes doesn't like heavy full coverage. It just sits on my face, while medium coverage sits better. I have tried every concealer on the market, currently liking haus labs and clinique concealers since they cover and also help with creasing along with having plenty of shades that I can pick the tones I like. Currently tried Mario concealers, and I didn't like. When I return Mario, I will be picking up Natasha denona concealers.

If you aren’t wearing foundation and just using concealer for redness and under eye circles. Should you still go 2 shades lighter? For the under eyes?

Also does 2 shades lighter mean if you are medium tan -> medium -> medium light. Use medium light?

I found my concealer shade through trial and error . And the lighter shade thing I do on areas I want to highlight.

???? If you're covering blemishes choose something the same shade or one shade darker, dark circles also look shit with a super light concealer

This is ONLY for under eye brightening. Spot concealing you want to go with your foundation shade. Also as of late trends have strayed away from such a drastic shade contrast to avoid looking like you wear an eye mask so I definitely agree with seeing the tone next to each other

What if you’re super fair? Most of my foundations are fair rose. I get the lightest concealer. But I do notice that much under eyes get kind of green grey I’ve tried brighteners and color correction. I feel like I’m missing something. Any tips?

I am a light warm undertone but I love a cool (pink) toned concealer to color correct and brighten my undereyes 😊
