I have the 14 eye derby boots and I love them since they are way comfortable and less squishy. Plus the soles last longer.

I used to buy Dr.Martens in the early ‘80’s. For a ‘10 hole (eyelet) pair, they were £19.99. They were made in their factory in Northampton UK, and we’re great quality. But now, they are over £100.00 and made of cheap leather. It is still possible to buy the original leather made DM’s, but they are now £250.00. Solo air are much better.

I have had both for about 2 years. I can tell you the soles wear out incredibly fast on the Docs. Solovairs will last you 3 or even four times longer. Imo you should think of and treat Docs like sneakers. You will have to replace them as often as sneakers. As for the Solovairs, you can get them resold multiple times. I'm not saying you can resole Docs, but for the price, you can just buy new ones for the cheaper.

Slightly wrong info, they invented docs. Dr martens used to be "Dr. Martens by solovair" also it was really weird hearings docs referred to as Dr martens outloud lol

Got derbys 11 eye and monkey boots. Will never look away from solovair! Hard to break in compared to the other guys but that's half the fun and they last 10x longer

I'd like to ask you if they were true to size? What size did you order them in and did they fit well oj the first try? Unfortunately I live in SoCal and there isnt store where I could find these Monkey Boots to try on in person.
