Shady Maple is absolutely fantastic! I only go for breakfast, but man, pancakes, omelettes, waffles, fruit, and desserts (because breakfast needs one) in one place? Their home fries are the absolute best. I'd go up there just for those. The lines can be really long, but it's well worth the wait!

I love Shakey's Bunch O' Lunch. I sure do miss Perry Boys and Sir George's. When I was growing up in Alhambra, CA, there was a buffet called "Little Bit of Sweden". The Swedish meatballs were crazy good.

I miss the days when there was a Shakey's Pizza in town . I still have a set of their glasses . I remember the one here had dinner too so our basketball team would go there after every game. I also remember going there with family too . That was the best pizza ever .

I grew up on ryans buffet down here in Louisiana. I miss that place, used to go so much as kid when my mom worked there and my parents were still married. Brings me back to a simpler time. At least I can take my daughters to CiCis

Shakey's biggest market is in the Philippines, where it has been very popular for decades and has the highest number of branches. The Philippine market is the one sustaining the brand that is not really well-known in the US, where it is from. Shakey's is so big in the Philippines that you'd think it originated there.

I miss Shakeys so much....loved the one we used to have here but it closed in 1996. I loved their mojos so much. Sadly I may never get to go to one again as all the ones that I knew about in Upper Michigan and Wisconsin closed in the later part of the 90's.

Just like my old fave regular pizza joint with no buffet....Godfathers Pizza....last one of those that I know of closed in 1997.

My favorite Buffet places no longer exist Ponderosa and Old Country Buffet. Once knew a all-you-can-eat KFC and all-you-can-eat breakfast McDonald's to. Buffets in general are sadly going out of business.

Guys, i went to golden Corral and tried everything on their menu. like their steak, spaghetti, pizza, mashed potatoes, chicken, salads, fries, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, desserts, and more etc! It's great.🍛🍝🍕🍚🍗🥗🍟🍔🌭🍰🍦🍫🍩🍪
