Why do men refer to nuts and bolts and washers and screws as “her”?? Try saying him and see how it feels- might feel demeaning.
Otherwise, good video

Great video!! Don't give a crap about him, her, it wth ever!!! I am just grateful to find a normal speed video with a great teacher. I bought a 1930 home and needed to fix my leaky faucet and this video saved me money and dumbed it down very well!! From a ladies point off view. Thanks!!

bb23, nice vid. I would recommend for anyone with an older house (1830s-1950s) who may have a faucet that has been in place for decades to use a faucet handle puller. These inexpensive tools allow one to remove the faucet handle—that can get nearly "welded" on with age, applying so much force that it compromises the entire plumbing set behind the wall. While your "tapping it with the handle of a screwdriver" might work many times, there will be those rogue faucets that require a bit more equalized pull from the front. The faucet puller does not strain the plumbing but sure does help yank off the handle.

Great video! I was about to buy and install a whole new shower body and would have had to break a y tile wall to do it! Now I can take the easy way out to stop the leak!
Thank you!

The "tap the faucet handle with a screwdriver handle" removal method worked after a few minutes of trying it. Thanks!

Great video. That nut you mentioned is called a packing nut. Another tip is to apply thread sealant to the new valve seat or a few turns of Teflon tape.

The valve seat I bought was at my local Home Depot. BUT the guy working there had no idea when you buy the replacement kit for the Price Pfister, it does NOT include the valve seat and you must buy it separate. So…….. be on the lookout for that little item in a bag on the hundreds of items on the peg wall at Home Depot. More than likely the employee has NO IDEA what it is, what it’s for, or if they even have it.

At 3:40 -- why do you have to ttake out that sleeve first with the adjustable wrench. Won't it come out with the valve at 5:40 ?? Thanks

Good job -I’m a plumber, but, next time, shine a light in the hole so people can actually see it clearly.
