Goku was the first to drop sweat, Vegeta allowed Goku to work hard in the beginning while he saved energy, blocked allday and only countered where there was a wide opening. In the end Vegeta beat him to final punch because of it. It was honestly a good game plan by Vegeta considering they were not allowed to transform and restore strength. Very tactically done by Vegeta in normal form. Goku may be able to spike slightly higher in energy from transformations but it looks like Vegeta's close range fighting skills have improved to the point that might not matter much going forward.

This movie kinda missin the fact Goku is literally training to master ui yet they made Vegeta seem more calm and “ultra instinct like”

It's great to see Vegeta trying to be more calm and collected at the beginning while Goku is the one being more offensive since the movie talks about Vegeta doing meditation and training his mind while Goku focuses more on training his body. It kind of looks like they're switching mindsets when they're fighting here

As someone who comprehends the fight choreography, they genuinely pissed me off at the release of this with how sloppy goku looks in this fight. There’s cases where one person makes the other look bad, but this was just vegeta showing he’s better and goku showing that he’s a fuckin clown

I’m pretty big of a fan of both, otherwise I wouldn’t care enough to point it out when either of their characters are being poorly represented
