My favorite is Golbat. Because here in Germany Burger Kings gave out plush Pokemon with their kids meal and I drew Golbat. Pure nostalgic memories!

Favorite Gen 1 pokemon is definitely Gengar. I love his tragic backstory, it makes him a very complex and relatable pokemon.

Gyarados. Was always my favorite Pokemon to use in the original games. Those games got me through some tough times as a kid. didn't really get the opportunity to collect the cards but I was lucky enough for the games and the show. love that you are still a kid on the inside and sharing your love for the cards and knowledge with all of us.

Gotta be charmander for me. Was my first ever gen 1 starter. So many memories. Christmas morning, 2002, getting pokemon Ruby while my friend got Sapphire. Sitting outside on the doorstep for 4 hours straight playing the games together. That excitement, the rush of playing my first pokemon game. Then came pokemon fire red. Getting to experience the original generation but remastered, after I'd had the cards and watched the anime for years. That feeling is pure nostalgia and has kept me as a fan my whole life. Very glad I was part of the early days of pokemon.

My favorite Gen 1 Pokemon is Slowbro. Mon is underappreciated and the mysterious evolution of a Shelder supposedly helping them evolve but then other times they just evolve from battle. Also they are said to be able to unevolve. I kinda like that they either messed up the continuity or its just more mysterious than we know. Also in the game Regenerator plus its physical bulk is **chefs kiss**

Mewtwo! His story is a tragic one and if you go inside the Cinnabar Mansion you can see all they did to him, truly a great backstory for one of the best pokemon ever made.

I love how the most-viewed part is Steam Siege. As someone whose favorite set of all time is Steam Siege, I see this as a HUGE win

My favorite Gen 1 pokemon of all time is Eevee. Eevee is a very basic Pokémon on the surface in terms of what it can do on its own, but its ability to evolve into multiple different types of pokemon is so cool. They've been able to use this ability throughout the history of Pokemon, and I love seeing the creativity Eevee allows. Also, Eevee is an incredibly cute Pokemon, and the name fits so well. It's just one of the coolest ideas for a Pokémon.

The trip down memory lane was so surreal. I lost a childhood friend of mine almost 2 years now and we played every Pokémon game up until around platinum on ds while going into 7 grade. It’s wild to think we were destroying so many skyridge cards to scan on our game boys. Seeing the artwork of all the older wizards of the coast packs got me happy and emotional. Sometimes you never really appreciate the small thing until years and years past by. Long time fan of what you do for this community. Keep rocking Leon!

My favorite Gen 1 Pokemon has to be Magikarp, because I too only know how how to Struggle. But also because it evolves into one of the most bad to the bone Pokemon.

Squirtle is my all time fave. The first game I played was Blue so I wanted the game mascot so chose Squirtle as my starter and he’s been my fave ever since. ‘Here comes the Squirtle Squad’ was then my fave episode in the Anime as well. This was an amazing video!

As someone who just got back into card collecting with 151, SOOO fun to see these opening and all the packs I missed during my broke years hahah

Nidoking was always my favorite, using thrash at early levels in Pokémon BLUE and earthquaking everything in the elite four was epic. He was also cool as heck in the show!

Recently started collecting because of 151 with all first gen pokemons (that speaks volume) and my favorite is Cubone because of the theory of him wearing his mum on his head for protection (I was a kid back then and I still cannot forget it to this day)😿

Favorite Gen 1 Pokémon, as cliché as it is has to be Mew. I just love how elusive and mysterious Mew is. Also the playful nature of Mew is super cute and finally Mew is so darn cute you just wanna cuddle it.

Favorite gen 1? The one and only Pikachu- in particular, Ash’s pikachu. The attitude it had towards Ash in the beginning and how it grew to a loyal companion. Plus, pikachu is so cute!
