Utterly love this video on all levels i.e. musical, lyrical, visual, and how it resonates in my heart. I think it is a masterpiece. It's about personal courage, truth, honour, love, pain, being pushed to a point of no compromise and laying it all on the line, come what may. I keep playing it. Love the varied subtle intonations of the vocals. Very cool. Perfection. Thank you Lainey Wilson. I love the tears it brings to my eyes. Tears of human connection, of feeling deeply, tears of joy.

So, I'm a new fan... actually not much of a country fan, unless it's older country. I saw you at WCOL's Red, White and Country at Flanagan's on the 4th. When I heard you doing your soundcheck, I started paying attention. Hearing you sing, and seeing the presence you had on stage, I was hooked. I told my friends, that if you had the same crowd Chris Jansen had, you would have had that place going crazy. Hearing your story is the icing on the cake. I've been going through a really rough time lately. Like really rough. Seeing you in concert picked me up. I needed that, and I honestly want to say thank you for exiating. I hope you makr it to the top of the charts! You truly deserve it!

I've listened to country music my entire life, and Lainey your voice reminds me of a young Dolly Parton. You have your own natural beautiful voice with it's own distinct sound, but I hope you take that comparison as the compliment it is meant to be. I'm saying what I'm thinking! The mentors in the music industry need to live with the stalkers and crazy fans they release on the artists. If they did, they would dress you modestly. The problem, is the records companies only have 2 tried and proven ways to sell someone to the public; bad or sexy. Both are visual and don't have anything to do with the sound. It is time to return to the music and drop the image that Elvis brought in. When I worked at WBR, they tried to tell me an artist is done when they turn 40. I argued, but they were selling an image to kids, and they didn't care about the maturity of an artist's voice. What is funny, those young people that told me about the 40 thing at WBR are now over 40. I wonder what they are thinking now? When it comes to visual, I learned not to trust my eyes, but to trust my ears!
