Nintendo 3DS XL Review

In this video I review the Nintendo 3DS XL in blue. I demo gameplay of New Super Mario Bros 2, Resident Evil: Revelations and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as well as show the new larger screens, go over the camera, Virtual Console, battery life and if it's better than the 3DS.

The 3D is better and more immersive but for the most part I haven't seen any games that truly make me want to use 3D all the time.

I imagine the second Circle Pad will be included on the 3DSi or whatever they call the first major update.

Yep! I write a script and do a voiceover for reviews like this. For editing software I use several, Corel VideoStudio Pro X5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, Audacity and GIMP for this one.

It's not terrible but you probably won't be able to get reasonable frame rates on more intensive games.

Now they need to make the thumbs down button invisible.

It's basically the same game from the N64 version so if you've got it already you can pass. Still a great game though, it's aged nicely.

Most things, yep. I do get some things sent to me to review but they're usually phones which I send back after I'm done.

Yep. The 3DS XL has the same resolution so they always run like that.

Hey Austin! I just want you to know that I think your videos are great. Also, because of you, I now own two Nintendo 3ds XLs. I quite enjoy the gameplay, and the feeling of it is awesome. The only problem I had with it is that the screen and stylus get lose. So thank you for being a great YouTuber, and keep up the good work!😉
