Here's some other tips that I thought I'd share/clarify:

-Starting in the maze, you're gonna wanna grab the chase item that's hardest to grab when being chased, followed by grabbing the chase item you wanna use first. In my case, both of these items were the bone, but there's some mazes where the carrot is harder to get. In that case I'll grab the carrot, then the bone, then the pipe sword.

-I highly recommend you use the chase items in this order: Bone, Grass, Carrot. Bunny's room is close to a dangerous dead end, so I like to save that for the end of the match so that Bunny can save me if I hit that wall. Also, the Shadow Sentinel spawns in Zizzy's room, so you might have some trouble using the grass first. Using the bone first and passing Zizzy's room gives the Shadow Sentinel a good opportunity to leave Zizzy's room, so they'll be less obstacles when you revisit her room with the Grass later on.


Also, check out ErnieC3's guide if you haven't done so. While his strategy never worked for me personally, I really liked his format and thought I'd add onto it with some more consistent strategies:

If you unlocked the 2nd floor, here's a strategy on how to defeat TIO:

Try to give any NPC (Like Doggy or Bunny) certain items they need. Now, once you do that, head to the first floor and go to the house area (You know where Georgie is dangling). Head upstairs (that house area) and since TIO can't jump through the ceiling, TIO will get surrounded by the NPC and get knocked out.

Another strategy is the same but the only difference is that you give all the NPC the certain items before you head to the house area on floor 1. I don't know if it's a bug or not but I guess it'll work one NPC at another to knock TIO.

I found this game-changing tip: if TIO is close to u run and jump and bc of his hitbox it’ll make it harder for TIO to get u, probably why NO_DATA said he couldn’t outrun him

I didn't know how you can go to that area from the house map and jump off to get distance from tio. Really helpful since I'm pretty sure he goes the exact same speed as you, if not faster

To be honest, I went into the Hidden Ending solo with no strategy and I still beat it. First try of the play session, but not the first try period. Yesterday I beat it solo third try of the session. TIO killed me on the first try of that session and I fell into the void during the second try of the session.
