Nice Reason has great sounding piano patches for years, yes reverb does wonders.

Another epic reason effect, is a hack, is using the radical piano use it as a effect and some of the built in sound in that rack will affect the original signal. It’ll be useful in the future since many audio plugin developers use this approach as well to make a effect-version of their instrument. Very nice results!!! 😊

This is good advice. As a piano player, I often use this approach, even when I am just working out an idea without actually playing it in. I suspect that, secretly, Big Z might actually have been able to shred on the piano at some point in his life. He often presents very astute musical suggestions in his Everyman persona, but there is something deeper going on here.

I keep seeing people saying change the plugin. Yes you can do that and fire up NI NOIRE for example BUT you're missing tweaking options here. Also, what if you're not in a Kontakt environment and your freebie piano's pretty limited? That's where this comes in.
