For anybody deciding about taking her courses- they are AMAZING. I thought I was going to cringe watching this because I have well over two decades developing websites/blogging, BUT everything she is saying is correct and useful advice for anybody getting started. Although, I will say, if you are going to self-host, take the classes or have a friend who knows web development. A Wordpress hosted site, is going to be a lot easier for you get started, and now I'm wondering the difficulty of exporting all your content to a self-hosted site. Oh, and THIS PERSON IS NOT A HACK because she touts "idiot and always learning" (my first time watching. first video).
