Thank you for really putting yourselves out there and trying this. So many people are afraid of doing any kind of art, thinking that they've failed before they started. Hopefully, you've encouraged many people to start letting go and loving painting.

I've done so many paintings myself with this technique.

The 'wet on wet' painting technique dates back to The Renaissance.

I've gotta check out the new guy. Weird that its not Bob's son, BUT I know things werent all pleasant between the two. Plus, dude was already on the show when he was a kid, and the audience at the time grew up with him.

Bob Ross did NOT create the "wet on wet" painting technique. It was taught to him by the late Bill Alexander, who had his own PBS show that pre-dated Ross, with his own line of paints, tools, and classes (some of which Bob sold/taught). The only thing that Bob Ross brought to it was his hair and personality. With Bill, it was "Fire it in there!", where Bob had his "happy little trees" (which Alexander said that he stole from him).

When Bob started his own line/classes, with Bob letting people give him credit, a major rift developed between the two entities.

Look up Bill Alexander...

It's funny how those Bob Ross beginner paintings always have the exact same look.

No good deed or person goes unpunished. What happened to Bob is so despicable and so common. He was robbed of the use of his own name, talent and free will. Disgraceful!! I don't support companies that use and abuse others in life and death in this case. Disgusting
