Jordan B. Peterson talks about the malicious intent of some people to falsely accuse others for acts of crime, which they did in fact not perform. He also exclaims that there should be no believing the victim more than the portrayed, potential target of the criminal case. Jordan ends swiftly with the statement that the judicial system shall not be seen in a light that makes it seem like you are being treated easily and/or with care.

Do you agree with the psychologist?

In the criminal justice system, when you afford people special rights, you equally deprive the defendant of the same rights.

Victims should be taken seriously, but not believed blindly. Evidence matters. The truth matters.

If we treat as true than there is no presumption of innocents. An accusation is damaging enough.

It’s called “innocent until proven guilty” why does no one understand this??

It's like the interviewer ignored JPs first statement entirely.

Many men have been falsely accused by malicious and vindictive women. These women should be treated just as badly as the poor men whose lives they tried to ruin.

Accusations must always be taken seriously...but to advocate/assume someone's "truth" before investigation - denies due process and assumes the reverse toward the accused. This must be true for ALL or it is not fair for anyone.

bet this interviewer would feel differently if he was the one being accused.

Because the moment you accept that one party is the victim then you are pre-disposing yourself to believing them.

this interview has the sleeziest, snake-in-the-grass demeaner i've seen in a while. It's striking, i bet you he has alot of secrets

He's literally saying, the accused should be thought of as guilty until proven innocent

I'm reminded of this guy who got accused of rape. Kid lost his scholarship to an ivy league school and the school kicked him out, he was disowned by his entire family and thrown out of the house, all of his friends but one shunned him. Guy was living in his car for half a year before he could find a place to rent. Then several months later the girl confessed that she had lied about the whole thing but at that point the kid's life had been essentially ruined.

I miss the days when justice required proof to endict people. All you need now is a sobbing woman pointing a finger at someone.

when we believe the victim 100% of the time we end up with women like Amber Heard.

The fact he said “As if SHE is telling the truth” is what pisses me off the most

“That isn’t how it works.”

“But I don’t like reality! I don’t like people making me feel bad by assuming I’m lying even though the odds are I AM lying. What’s most important is not Justice for the guy I’m accusing but my need to feel better about myself.”
