Didn’t Manafort (who was also jailed) get to wear a suit? Research shows that juries look more favorably on a defendant when dressed in outside clothes versus jail garb. This sounds purposeful as she was innocent until proven guilty and should have worn clothes of a free person until conviction. Just again showing Americans that justice works differently for the rich than those who are not.
