Reality Winner: The 60 Minutes Interview

Reality Winner was arrested in 2017 for leaking classified information about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Scott Pelley speaks with Winner in her first television interview since being released earlier this year.

I am a Navy Veteran and a retired police officer. I feel very strongly that Reality Winner is a victim of an unfair government and she is my hero by doing what she did. Ms. Winner, you helped this country, you didn't hurt it. The 2018 and 2020 elections might have been very different and would not have reflected the true will of the people if it wasn't for you. Please take heart in the fact that your fellow US citizens and fellow veterans feel gratitude toward you. You did the right thing. I will be thinking good thoughts for your physical and mental healing.

This is precisely what Ed Snowden would be facing if he were to return to the U.S. and deal with his dilemma. He has said that if he were allowed to make his case in front of a jury, with his personal explanation as to why he did what he did, he'd be willing to return and take his chances in a court of law . . .🤔
