Krakatoa is the BEST particle renderer in creation. I've tried them all and can't get as decent of quality rendering particles ALONE outside of Krakatoa. I'm still confused as to why Autodesk hasn't bought Krakatoa out from under them. So for it to be free right now is a god send for those (like me) who cannot continuously pay for these plugins.

The only way i'd use this is if I could use the network renderer and hook it to the entire AWS network for rendering, other than that, who needs it?
