ChimeraOS ('SteamOS') running on the GPD Win 3 (Linux on GPD Win 3) (Wait for new Update - Borked)

Just a quick video showing off ChimeraOS running on the GPD Win 3.

Some changes still need to be made to make everything run as well as on other devices but there has been a lot of progress made already and if you want to help with the development of ChimeraOS take a lot at their website, Discord and or Patreon.

I´ll make an updated video when everything is done and running properly but I think the team is on a very good way. So I would assume that this device will soon enough be running ChimeraOS great.

The team is very nice and walked me through the steps extremely well to get everything running and trying out certain features in the software as well as getting some info on some of the things GPD did a bit weird in comparison to other companies. (A big part why it didn´t work properly before was because of exactly that)

Disclaimer: I am only a Patron and a tester of the OS. I am not part of the development team. I just really wanna see this OS get the help, support and range it needs and this is my small part of helping them.

1 year later does it play games better with steam os then windows 10 / 11 or about the same
