Dave - thanks for the video. I am keen to learn more about this conversion kit. The Jag suppliers offer one but it's a lot of money. There is also an alternator conversion that looks like the original generator with an alternator inside. That's cool but it cost $800! Not likely to happen. Your supplier made a nice kit and the instructions seem really thorough.

I do intend to run a negative group conversion too. It's very simple on the Series 1 E-Types.

Hi John, yes I have seen the gen/alt conversion that looks orignal...your right very pricey. I fought with even spending the money that I did since I had three working generators for the car....I guess that I will keep one and sell the others to fund the alternator conversion.

Ok so this really isn't a gen to alt conversion vid as stated in the title. Its more of a garage door insulating with talk of a future gen to alt conversion right? May want to re-think your vid title dude! Just sayin.
