This video shows an update from the e-chain install and some cosmetic enhancements that are functional as well. It also goes into the how and where I am mounting the limit switches and the way I am doing cable management.

Amazing man! Good work. This is the best DIY CNC I have ever come across. I would gladly pay to get a copy of your 3d models and plans.

Great build and even greater commentary. The only thing that I would suggest would be to join your limit switch wires together such that the shielding is complete all the way to your ground point. I did mine like yours and I had a lot of problems with estop triggers and it turned out that the limit wiring was picking up interference from somewhere and even setting debounce to a massive 45000 didn't solve it. I disconnected the limits to solve the problem but that wasn't a good idea as it produced other problems. Eventually changed to shielded  proximity switches and wired them with a single run with no joins and have debounce set at 4. Thanks for the vids, I have learned and enjoyed them very much.

Hi all. I will have an update soon on everything. Thank you for following this project. I got swapped with work and you know the rest....

Yes I recommend 2 motors on x axis with a cnc this size and design and it is not hard to dial it in.

Awesome machine any new videos? The only thing I would have changed would have been three invidivual series connections to the limit switches, 1 per axis. If the gecko drive would allow it. As it sits now, you can't create a "machine home" position, because when ANY limit switch is tripped the machine would stop. Dying to toake on a project this big myself, I've built a few little ones but nothing this big.

Great video! Can you tell me what size steppers motors did you use on this? Which stepper motor drive controller did you end up using?? Thanks for you time

Looks like a great project. Not sure if you've updated any new videos showing it in action. The latest I see is showing the stop switches. Any other videos?

My apologies. I found the answers to my questions by reviewing your other videos :) I did think of another question though, more out of curiosity. I'm planning on using just 1 stepper motor for the x axis and I see that you are using 2. Was there any problems timing the 2 of them together or did they just work by default?? Thanks again for your time
