Ruud was a beast, he reincarnated total football, the most complete player I ever have seen playing, he was impressive, he had it all, the profile of a player each coach-manager dreams of to have in his team, a force of nature, a gift of nature, and an humble guy on the pitch, very fair play and humble, and very open minded, a jewel of a human, full of humanity, and very charismatic ... a role model for the youths of that time, in any aspect ... and above all, a pretty much very very underrated player, for me togetheer with Jay Jay Okocha and Matt Le Tisier, the 3 most underrated players of all time
