Also a piece of advise, the muscle memory of dodging, just chill and add a 1 -2 second delay and you will be able to dodge, do not try to dodge immediately there's a delay when he finally moves that's the time you need to dodge.
I hate this guy versus other bigger bosses, this BBH hits really hard, one direct hit from that long range damage is instakill even with the amount of health I have here.

actual way to cheese this guy, get into the roof of the shack using torrent, wait until the night, get out of the game and enter again, he will invade you, but he will never gonna reach you, so you can poison him or shoot stuff.

I’m level 122 with some of the best armor in the fucking game and this dude can literally kill me in 2 fucking hits! Like others have said, these spawning enemies scale to your level which makes them so hard to beat. Just like the 3 you have to beat in Caelid where the pot gives you that jar talisman. He's already tanky and has a sword and shield bash thing that 2-3 shots you no matter what level. Once you get hit, it always destroys your poise and trying to get away to refresh HP gets you hit more with that massive flying sword.

omg thank you in the comments, so i went to an adjeecent grace, changed time to night, teleported back, then got on torrent ran out to trigger him and jumped up onto the roof, then proceeded to spam starcaller cry over and over, i died to this nerd like 50 times. no shame about cheesing this guy

Some people think anything other than beating an enemy with anything but bare fists naked is "cheese". I kited him with Ekzykes Decay til he fell over.

The easiest cheese I found was to use the scarlet rot dragon incantation, stand as high up as you can on the tallest buildings roof, wait for him to loose Aggro, and use the incantation again. Just keep doing that until he dies.

I was fighting with this dude for fking 2 hours and i finally manage to defeat him standing to close to him and just rolling all his atk and get adapt to his moves and dam it for just 2 useless item damn it

holy crap this guy is tough.. level 120 and still having a hard time. For a rewards thats not even worth it. Im hearing you could poison him with arrows and jump on the shack roof with your horse for a slightly easier cheese

Good for you man, im a lvl 109 with 45 vitality and this guy still kills me in just 2 hits, he gives ZERO room for reprive

I killed the 2 in warmaster's shack and church of vow pretty easy. This one kept on killing me over and over again. Have mainly a bleed build and while it took a big chunk of health from him one wrong move or dodge fail and I was pretty much instant dead. Tried frost, poison, fire nothing. What worked best for me was running around on torrent and sniping him with lightning bolt luckily I had put some points in faith to barely cast the spell which took him down.

Hopefully the last one I have not done yet in Lyndell is easier?

Just beat this guy using bloodhound's fang. Circled him with roll dodges, closing the distance, then hitting him with bloodhound's finesse. Used bloodflame blade on top of that. Worked pretty well, but wasn't easy by any means.

When being invaded, use Torrent to get up to the roof of the shack and use Moghwyn's spear that will obliterable him below. No need of bows or whatever. :D

I beat him by staying at his back where he spams the shield smash; very slow attack with slow recovery, allowing me to get in a hit or two. Rinse and repeat. Staying at his back tends to limit his moveset.
