Very nice. This and the 3rd variation of the Bell Bearing Hunter were harder for me than any boss in the entire game, including final boss/Mohg/Maliketh/Radahn. Couldn't kill this with melee after hours and hours of trying. Good shit man, you made this look super easy

Appears like a melee boss but is actually stronger in ranged combat.

I have defeated Malenia, Malekith, Placidusax, godskin duo etc, but this was for me the hardest boss in the game. This was also the last boss I had left to defeat.

Took me 3 hours to beat this guy and everytime i thought i had his moveset down he'd get an extra swing in and i die, so freaking hard and 60, 000 ruins doesn't do it justice more like 100, 000 ruins would be preferred

People love to say that Elden ring's open world was empty. Yet, without an open world, i dont think you would have moments like this, where this motherfucking ambushes you in a previously safe location. He is kind of like nemesis

I think I've left three comments on your video and I'm a year late to the party. But I did it my friend, thanks to you. I kept watching your video and I got him without taking a hit. I limited myself to one hit after the end of every move he had. For anyone else struggling, through all the ass whooping I took heal after a successful dodge from his shield bash, do not heal after tryinb to run or roll away.

Took me like 10 tries to beat it. It was def a difficult boss. The easiest way to beat him is to stay right on his ass the whole time and don’t give him any space. When you’re that close to him he has like 2 different move combos and that’s it. When you get far from him that’s when he starts using the force and it’s impossible to dodge. Just use a blood loss sword or claws and stay as close as possible

I died when he was almost done and when I respawned I got the gravity ball bearing pop up. Went over to collect my runes and there was 50k. I think one of those big dog things finished him off just as I was dying. I'll take it.

This fight was way too stressful for the garbage that he drops. Don’t know how I beat him the first time but in NG+ after a couple tries I just walked away lol

I really wish that we had the same capabilities with his sword as he does. Because his attacks are so cool.

Thanks. I have the same dual wield and after watching this it was easy to do it. Trick is to stay close as much as possible and just do one right click attack in between. If you press more than one for dual wield chances are you are not going to dodge his next attack. Having this in mind and enough patience you can do it without cheesing him. 10x again.

Came here right after I beat him. Took me about 30 tries, but I finally beat him by running circles around him with my horse, punishing 2 of his moves by poking him a single time. I’m level 110, came here to see if I was under leveled or if this guy is just one healthy bloke. Glad to know he’s a strong John and causes everyone problems.
