Late-night TV is all about laughter, but not so much after Donald Trump's election win. Trump has been the butt of late-night jokes for years but it accelerated during the campaign. In September and October, the late-night comics between them told 1,428 jokes targeting Trump and just 35 aimed at Harris, according to The Media Research Center. The mood was somber at Stephen Colbert's first show following Trump's victory. He made no secret of how he felt.
