Creating Delta - Mumford & Sons in the studio

Blood, sweat, tears and a lot of laughs. #DeltaTheAlbum was such a journey to make and it was the people around us, the process and each other that got us there.

Mumford and Sons turned me on when I first heard Little Lion Man. After I had listened to it a hundred times, I tried Sigh No More and hated it. Then I listened to I Gave You All and loved it. Then I realized that I enjoyed their morbid songs and continued to listen to them. I came back to Sigh No More and loved it! And listened to that a hundred times.
After long nights of obsessively playing their music and learning it on guitar, and annoying everyone in my household they came out with Babel. I loved it thoroughly, the entire album and I was obsessed with them even more as a band.
The long wait came for Mumford to drop Wilder Mind and I was a little bit disappointed because they dropped the banjo. But I didn’t give a fuck because they are my favorite band. So I kept listening and realized how much Of a masterpiece Wilder Mind is and grew to love the other albums just as much.
AND NOW THIS!!! I am not disappointed at all. They are different they are changing they are growing as a band and I love it because I am proud to say that I have been listening to Mumford and Sons since 2012 and seeing them whenever they are near me. I love them so much, not for the music they keep making but the new adventures and new ground that they seem to break on every album. I love Mumford and Sons as a band, and what they represent to everyone that listens to them. They are one of the most famous bands of our time because they put so much effort into their performances and their songwriting that it’s not just a shit they drop on us like so many musicians do. It is a well thought out story telling album that goes into the Legacy of what Mumford and Sons will leave behind. They are gaining ground and making a huge impact on listeners because they’re so open minded and ready to take on a challenge. I appreciate these gents more and more every year for being so great.
I’ve seen and heard many a great artist, but nothing like them. They are an inspiration to upcoming musicians and just prove to all of us that you can do ANYTHING and it will be successful as long as you put 100% effort into it.

I have listened to Delta non stop since it was available for streaming. 12am Nov 16 I listened to the full thing. The emotions I felt during certain songs took me back to when I first heard Babel.
People might not like this album like Wilder Mind but it’s still that same Mumford & Sons energy and passion. The music just changed that’s all. I can’t wait to hear these songs live next year.

Also they didn’t have to go that damn hard in Darkness Visible but I’m glad they did!

Love their albums but Delta is amazing. Listen to it all the time and on thursday I will see them live for the very first time. In Bangkok. 13 hours flight doenst matter. I would travel around the world if I had to. Biggest wishes for the concert; «if I say» «42» and «wild heart» ❤️
