So hard to see a great guy like Junior lose. Keep your head up Cigano, you're a warrior. One of the best and most exciting heavyweights in history

I hate fights where two absolutely amazing people have to fight. One of them has to lose and its heartbreaking. I hope Junior becomes champ again but I also don't want Stipe to lose. kudos to both gentlemen for being just pure class. Thank you. MMA needs more like you both.

Been following JDS throughout his career and this loss kinda stings more than the Cain losses. Chin up champ, i know you'll be back!

I don't care if you lose or not you will always stay my biggest childhood hero and I am sure that you will become the Champion again. I believe in you.

I was always oblivious to who JDS is. Maybe because I am a new MMA fan and paid more attention to other fighters in other weight classes. But, throughout the interviews and UFC 211 Embedded series, I have developed a deep respect and love for him and Stipe. My heart broke when I saw him lose today. The same would've happened if Stipe Miocic would've lost. After all of this, I look upto both of these guys due to their show of humility and I feel glad to have come to known of them. Thank you Stipe and Thank you JDS.

In a world full of McGregor wannabes, be a JDS.

This was indeed heartbreaking. "Quería darle la victoria a mi hijo": "I wanted to give my son the victory" :'( Toughest part of the sport, to see such imposing, intimidating man breaking up.

I have been behind Cigano since his win over Werdum and Gonzaga all these years ago. The Fight-Game is no easy game, but especially in the HW Division some guys come back stronger than before. I still believe in JDS, I really do. I hope he comes back strong, I hope he wins big and maybe there is a chance that he becomes Champ again.

Win or lose Junior is one of the best. Lots of respect for Dos Santos.

Junior is super dangerous and well rounded, i think the fact that he lost in like 30 seconds is what hurts the most, that 1st punch is what really finished him, you could tell by his expression that he was badly hurt, stipe brings huge power in very short punches and his opponents are allways stunned at how he can hurt them so bad with such short punches, im sad for junior and happy for stipe and i hope to see these guys do a third fight in the future, sorry junior, we all know you had more to offer but fights are unpredictable and anything can happen
