I think it’s more or less as easy to go to the Flotsam camp (at the buccaneer bay) to buy a fighter from the vendors there (with the gold you pick up from underwater chest along the way). You get a guaranteed fighter - and going there shouldn’t take that much more time than this method.

i go straight to sorcery cave for easy steel sickle and pickaxe, steel tools and perfected steel weapons, from there go straight to seth to farm his truncheon. the rest of the playthrough starts there. Quick, easy, no insane travel needed for steel gears.

My route is straight to the siege base, steal the legendary katana, then to the den steal the claws, next run to watch towers to empty the cage, then move on to mounds to get starmetal tools from boxes and armor from those npcs.
Sometimes make as well a trip to the brimstone lake and go into the warmaker dungeon to loot that chest below the stairs directly for high chance of heavy armor paddings, and then to sepermeru to chop up seth for the truncheon.

This is really good advice if you really need to rely on a follower for most of your early level activities.

Never thought of this. Good video. I usually just go to noob beach, train up until I have enough points for truncheon and wheel than run to some of the small camps to get a follower. But your method could get one right away. If one spawns in the cage.

I still like the one where you just need to collect gold coins and ninja your way into the vendor and buy yourself a friend.

I had a build one time where all I used as thralls were captured thralls I released and the beserker. Worked out really well. I also tried a run with using just tavern folks without sending any away to refill the spots. I just had to be real patient.

Always funny that 500-750 Items are only 5 weight in the box but more once you unbox it.

Would love to see a lets play on a map or something with some mods or nothing but base game, I love this game. Never did until my wife got hooked and got me hooked too.

The easiest thing is to pass the tutorial, go to the sinner's cave, get equipment there, open chests in sepermeru and go north, kill the NPC from the towers, get a key from the jailer and repeat until a thrall comes out to serve us

Wak, what about the camp above the dregs? In my opinion it's a bit easier than narrow neck as a secondary spot...anyways, always love your videos 👍🏿

@TheSietch is right, I forgot that. If that strategy is used, it's best to swim at least 3runs to get enough gold...which makes it a little less of a good idea actually...🤔

Has Conan fixed their corrupted issues yet? I uninstalled it a year ago. From being at lvl 59 max to my base getting nuked and journeys being erased were the final straws after 30 full replays. I was hardheaded.
