Very nice guide for Yunli. You hit upon the key element where her sig LC is one of those that are really important to the character. Lynx becomes her best sustain if you don't get that LC (that taunt is pretty important), but missing out on being able to use HuoHuo for the energy regen to get more Ultimates hurts. Something like 80% of her damage is going to come from triggering her Ults at the right time, so you want as many as possible. As someone who doesn't have Clara, I'm looking forward to pulling Yunli and finally getting some counter FuA action on my account!

I like the character style a lot, but, this is nothing new and I can't motivate myself to pull her.... I think I'm gonna skipp all the 2.4 banners. 2.5 seems to be more juicy. Nice guide anyway, thx for your hard work.

If she gets free crit stats on her traces/stat bonuses, I think HP%, Def% substats are best for her. She's like a glass cannon blade with no self sustain.

I love the counteratack play-style and i really want to run yunli with clara and fuxuan. This is my idea:

Yunli, fu, clara, here depends could be lynx, beilu, pela or tingyun.

Many ppl would hate beilu cuz she doesnt have dispel, but, fu grant some cc resist and yunli have some cc resist too, so, beilu can help with massive damage on late game due her kit, also she grant 10% less dmg income which stack with fu and yunli nature kit, is around 55% less dmg and is a really tanky team with not much complication on dps cuz yunli and clara both will get all the atacks.

its is true that clara will take some hits that yunli doesnt, is the same with fu, but every single amount of damage together will compensate this, beside beilu grant some damage buff too, fu will grant crit chance something that yunli and clara loves.

Maybe im wrong with my idea, but i can always change beilu with lynx to guarantee all the hits gets on clara and yunli and swap fu with pela to increase the damage.

Is Fu viable on this? I'm thinking of running Fu Xuan with Robin, Lynx and Yunli, but run her with Day one of my New Life for the the All Type Res buff instead of my usual Moment of Victory to avoid her stealing aggro from Yunli. But I feel like I'll be wasting one slot since I have two sustains in that team ( I don't have Tingyun and won't be able to afford Sparkle's rerun on Jiaoqiu's banner since I'm saving up for Lingsha). I'm thinking Fu's crit rate buff could help Yunli on her Crit Rate threshold. I will be running Aeon on her so I really need the Lynx taunt.

I see alot of people saying that Yunli is a clara powercreep, which is the case on paper, however their playstyles aren't quite the same. Yunli absolutely needs her ult up most of the time because of how strong it is (even more so if you have the valorous set). Thus Yunli at her best is SP negative because she doesn't taunt enemies unless she ults and would want the 30 energy from skill to get good ult rotations.
Clara doesn't have taunt instead having increased target value from her technique which is on top of the increased target value that she has naturally as a destruction. Clara can use more SP for more damage but you don't have to, and her built in resistances can be nice for dual dps comps if your other dps is kinda squishy.
Honestly you could probably run both in cases where the enemies effect RES stops them from being taunted by Yunli, as they'll probably target clara instead.

I admit I haven't actually read it so I'm being quite lazy here, but if Yunli is just a better Clara, then functionally speaking, wouldn't Clara's signature LC also work?
