Pros and Cons to a SEVEN Pin Sight

On those 5 to 7 pin sights, set the middle pin right in the center of the housing and adjust the entire housing to get the yardage for that pin first. Then adjust the rest of the pins from there. It helps for those of us with OCD to get the "group" of pins centered in the housing. It keeps you from setting everything up only to see the "group" of pins is too low or high in the housing and needing to move everything again. Just a hint I learned from doing it the hard way first...

I’ve shot the Spot Hog 5 pin ever since their inception. I believe it’s the ticket. Got it on a Fast Eddie. Love it!

Multiple pin sliders are the way to go for multi pins. Sight in the pins and use the bottom as your slider. I love it on my black gold. But I'm strictly an whitetail hunter, so I've never had to dial my sight, but I have it for my ss34 for tac as well.

I used 7 and 8 pin sights 20 years ago, including the
7 pin spot hogg .

Dude I want a new sight for my new bow but I gotta buy the other pieces. Chris you have any old dovetail sights you wanna sell? I got my Bow I bought a Phase 4 33. I just have to piece it together now. I got a QAD HDX but it doesn't give hardly enough clearance so I am getting an MX or MX2 I have my old HHA Optimizer lite, but I want a Dovetail. I wanna try the new Stabalizer bridgelock too. Thanks for converting me to Mathews!

I shoot bowhunter class so I love having the center wire for windage on hold overs. I wish they had micro adjust pins though.

Happy the Goat is feeling better and we have a video this morning….multi pins are definitely not for me lol…how many times do I hear people say “I used the wrong pin and missed the animal “….lots…I shoot a spot hog sight and like it bet much although it is a three pin movable sight….thanks Chris….great video as usual

Love your content man. You ever think of doing a review on the EZ V Sight? Seems like a decent sight for those of us with terrible vision. I can see even a 5 pin anymore🙄
