Below is ALL Parts of this Asustor Guide series for 2021-2022. If you click a link and it takes you to a video that is 'unavailable', this is because this series is being gradually published (I can only really put 1 video out a day on the YouTube channel without being a huge spammer!). So, if a video is unavailable to view, come back in a few days and it might well be published.

It is NOT a sales platform, NOT a way to push hardware you don’t need and, although it is just manned by me and might take a day or two for me to reply, I will help you any way I can. Below are some more popular guides.

Will the photography part of this video also work with PSD, PSB files when editing or should the EZ synch from the previous video be used?

your title says "Indexing" but I can't find Indexing in your key moment timestamps. I am looking for how to let my Mac look into a folder on ASUSTOR NAS and then search for any file that has the word "Cat" in its filename, for example. It'd be ok to search by real time but better yet, by an index already built. My Synology is enabled for this right out of the box and I wonder why ASUS made it so difficult to configure. Isn't it the whole point of NAS?

Thanks for the videos very useful. On the video at 15:52, the task monitor is showing Warning from a file copy performed. How to see which files were not copied or what went wrong during the copy? Tx

I've tried using Photo Gallery 3 and found it slow and clunky. It does not keep a record of the photos, so each time you visit the app it generates from scratch. I'm trying out Photoprism which appears to be better designed and uses a database. Although it seems to force you to use its folder structure. It does have the added complication of Docker and Portainer though. I believe it's possible to point it to your specific folder, though it isn't built into the app. I have the AS5304T. It really needs a more powerful processor than the Celeron.

The question I asked perilously I think in episode 1 of this series. In the 4 bay NAS you left the first bay out of the Raid 5 array for apps. The question was, does it have to be the first bay or can it be any other bay such as bay 4. Secondly, are you leaving one drive out of the RAID array for app performance? Or other reason? And thirdly, when installing the apps from the App Library, do the apps automatically install in the none RAID drive or do you select it? Thanks
