Dave does not want to be with Lauren. Honestly, I don't think he's fit for any relationship. Instead of being honest, he's trying to sabotage the relationship so that she breaks up with him and/or so he can make it look like the break-up was her fault. I do not believe that his sister and friends are stirring the pot as much as he says when they haven't even met Lauren. I think he's the one creating drama and gaslighting Lauren.

How is somebody as beautiful as Lauren a pick-me? Sleeping around. Friends with benefits. Her parents appear to have effed up big time. Maybe they were too busy working hard to provide and had no extended family support. Maybe she suffered a major rejection in high school or in college. This girl is damaged.

You are missing the point. As a man, he doesn't like (or any man) would love the idea of his fiance and future wife in a few weeks, just a few weeks ago was sleeping with another dude. Doesn't make any sense. Women will always point to get out of it that its an insecurity but is not. Think about it, LAuren admitted that they only were hooking up for sex and didn't went out to eat, movies, friends or anything, she literally said that it was only for sex. Well he doesn't like the idea of she giving it away so easily without any type of relationship/commitment. Not only that, she admits that the last time she saw the guy, they went to starbucks or something, ok so they did do other stuff from time to time, and he admitted there that he was matching with other girls in dating apps. So in summary, she was hooking up with a F*ck boy and she was part of that girl rotation. If you think about it, even in casual sex relationships, the women is the one that ultimately wants everything to be exclusive and eventually turn into a relationship. I starting to think that Lauren actually got into Love is blind to clear her mind and forget about that F*ck boy that didn't want anything serious with her more than casual sex. In a nutshell, Davie is thinking, why do I have to give you everything (commitment, marriage, be faithful) take our time with intimacy when you were giving it all to a random guy a few weeks ago, and more over, a crazy guy that is now DM'ing her friends and everyone. It tells a lot about the quality of the guys she was previously choosing to hook up.
