YouTube CAPTIONS TOO SMALL? Here’s the Fix (Make Subtitles Bigger)

Here's how to increase the subtitle font on YouTube. If your YouTube font is too small, it's easy to fix.

This only works on Desktop (not mobile), and it works for general YouTube videos, not for Shorts.

To turn on captions, press "CC".

To make the captions bigger, select Subtitles/CC and language.

Then select Font Size, and change it to 100%, 200% or some other option.

I also found keyboard shortcuts on my German keyboard: "-" to make caption font smaller, "*" to make caption font larger. It works along the 50%, 100%, 200%, 400% steps.

mine are always gray instead of white, even tho in the settings it's set to white.

CC says it's at 100%, yet it's so small I can barely read it, and there's no override option, F you Youtube
