Nothing beats the stainless military cup and a canteen shop stove that they don’t make anymore. Built like a tank

The Australian Army use this type of canteen. Very effective!

I've been using the pathfinder canteen kit for several months now and love it. The handle on the cup makes it my favorite camp cup. I bought the kit from the Pathfinder Shop, comes with alot of little extras. Great kit and another great video!

Backpacking 🎒with A canteen, cup and the canteen stove is the way to go ...Even if you use other types of stoves and fuel....With this, It gives you A back up plan ..

That's the pathfinder canteen cup right? Does that indeed fit the nalgene oasis bottle?
I'm looking to combine them

I much prefer the butterfly handles. I ordered the canteen cup you are using from Pathfinder Store. First use in the field and the handle fell off as I was cleaning it. The little hinge pin fell out into the high grass and I couldn't find it. Pathfinder stood by it and sent another one. But now I have to bring along some wire....just in case. I don't enjoy doubting my equipment. I want to feel confident. With the butterfly....no such worries. Great design on the it has to work each/every time.

I looked at the Lost Wild Grill at 7 ounces and it is a really nice grill. I pack ultralight and weight is important, I went lighter with the stainless steel Blase Bushcraft grill at 4 ounces.

Jeez! How long have you been holding onto that film canister?! And thank you for suggesting the Hot LIps! Great addition to any camp cup! I can't tell you how much I have learned from your videos! Bill Doyle

Enjoy your vids.
Purchased the whole canteen cook kit from path finder school.
One thing i didnt hear you discuss is the way the cup handle extends down like a third leg of a tripid for more stablity of the cup when sitting. I also purchased the helikon tex bag and love it.
Thanks

Fantastic setup! Thanks for sharing. I have the Nalgene Oasis and a GSI ss cup for it that I keep on my hip for hiking in the Macpedition canteen pouch. Still need a lid for my canteen but this setup looks awesome. That grill is definitely on my list! Would the pathfinder canteen lid fit the military issued canteen?
