Hey Jeff, I just watch your video and followed your instructions for the ScreenMend window repair kit. It worked wonders. It took a total of 2 minutes. You're right about the stickiness as soon as you stop. My wife is very happy with my work. You get the credit for this one. From Toronto, Canada, Merci! Denis Roy

Great review! I wouldn't mind how it looks with the screen mend on, as long as the skeeters can't get in.

Considering I use Duck tape to patch holes in my screens, matching color of course, then obviously I don't mind if it's noticable, but it's better than having a house full of bugs, this stuff is like a luxury item 😄, thx for the video, didn't even know this was a thing...

Hi, Jeff. I think that the product is pretty cool, especially if you need a quick fix and don't wish to spend money on new screens. The patch is obvious, but the price and the convenience make up for that. Thanks for the review...

This worked well on a HUGE hole I had in a screen door. It was big enough for my black cat to escape through at 2 am this morning. 🐈‍⬛ I found it at Wal-Mart in the seasonal hardware section next to the plastic window coverings for $7 and change.

Hi Jeff! Glad I found ur review, while looking at other full screen replacement videos. I have a sliding screen door that needs patching around the handle—fingernails have punctured it over time. I think the handle design fostered the punctures, though. There’s not much of a handle to grasp while opening/closing the door. I think I’m gonna try it and let you know how it works. Thanks for your review!

I think this is pretty good. For extra in insureance, after the first patch is set, I might add another on the other side. 👍

It worked perfectly for me. On one of my window screens it peeled off after five years of installation but I have a feeling my daughter might have done that 😏 🤦‍♀️ h/e on my other window screen it still sitting on it nice and strong

Good video. Just used it, it worked well. Looks like a patched screen although it doesn't pretend to be "invisible". Better then using the glue goop I used to use that looked far worse. So, yes it worked well.

Are you supposed to attach it from the "inside out" or "outside in?" i.e. Should the "adhesive side" be facing out towards the outside environment, or facing in towards the inside of house? thanks!

Be sure to clean the main screen with some alcohol first for best adhesion. Use fingernail polish remover to remove some of the color of the repair tape so it matches your main screen better.

Hi Jeff, I have a patio screen where the screen is only slightly torn from the spline ( about 5 inches ). I'm going to give it a try since your video showed that the patch will melt over the spline edge too and not just in the screen area. Since it works with some adhesive, I wonder how it will hold up if the sun is baking on it. Thanks !

I think this cheap quick fix is very useful since buying a new screen ( is expensive ) and installing it is much more difficult for first timers. Of course, if the screen repair is large then a new screen is in order.

I bought a pack at The Home Depot. Now that I've watched your review, I won't be using it on our front storm door screen. Although I can see it works, it's too visible!
